This has been custom made from a single piece of billet aluminium to fit the Audi TT MK1 6 speed car. It was inspired by the Audi R8, Lamborghini's and Ferrari's - having seen and heard these manual gear changes in operation, I decided that I loved the look and the click/clack sound, as well as the feeling of scything through the gears. The kit also comes with extended stainless steel bolts and a custom black leather gaiter that fits to the 8 original mounting points and completely covers the mechanics of the gear change mechanism. This can be fitted to any 6 speed manual TT (MK1) and if you have the two piece metal and leather gear knob you simply remove the gear knob and shaft and the just put the gear knob back on; if you have the 1 piece metal gear knob then you can either replace it with one of the gear knobs pictures or trim a small section off the bottom. Everyone comments on it when they see it and the fit and finish make people ask if it was always there.
